As an IT Technician at Symbro Ltd, you'll be a vital part of our IT and network operations. While occasional UK travel is part of the deal, your main hub is our support office in Bideford. Your role includes:
- Managing Server 2019 (with support from a 3rd Party IT company).
- Handling Windows 10 Professional setup and maintenance.
- Administering Active Directory.
- Overseeing Office 365 Administration & Operation.
- Setting up and maintaining restaurant networks, Wi-Fi, and VLANs.
- Deploying practical networking skills for RJ45 & BNC cabling.
- Managing NVR and DVR CCTV systems.
- Providing remote IT support to our teams.
- Ordering IT equipment and internet connections for new store openings.
- Keeping our IT ticketing system running smoothly.
- Keeping track of in-house IT equipment.
- Managing LAN/WAN/4G Connectivity (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP).
- Setting up VoIP systems.
- Handling audio installations.
- Occasional travel to sites across the UK
- Possessing a full driving license.
Qualifications:
While experience in the following areas is a plus, we offer training and support:
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Experience with Azure Intune.
- Proficiency in using in-house IT systems and software.
- Documenting IT systems.
- Familiarity with Freepbx.
- Understanding door access and card readers.
