HGV Class 1 Day Driver needed
Got People are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to work for our client based in the Biggleswade area. This position is Tramping and will involve trunking work, deliveries and collections, mainly to construction sites. A perfect role for HGV Class 1 drivers who want work with a prestigious company.
Requirements of a HGV Class 1 Driver
- Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
- Be able to load or unload if necessary
- Have British Licence, CPC and DIGI tachograph cards
- Must be able to follow construction sites H&S code of practice
- No more than 6 points (No DD DR or IN)
- Must have the correct PPE - HI Vis and Safety Boots (can be provided)
- Complete 2-3 trunking runs a shift
- Complete vehicle checks
- Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
PAYE Pay Rates & Further details:
- Mon - Fri Standard - £20 p/h
- Nights out
- Enhanced weekend rates, if required to work
- 8 hrs minimum pay guaranteed
- Paid Holiday
- Free parking available on-site
- Working hours 10 - 13 hrs daily
- Early AM start times 06:00
- Location: Biggleswade
- Duration: adhoc
