In this newly created role of Management Accountant, you will report directly into the Financial Controller. You will lead a small accounts team, ensuring that all reporting is completed and offer guidance where you feel it is needed.

You'll be confident and able to think outside the box, happy to offer advice or solutions to systems and processes. Your experience is within a wholesale or manufacturing industry, so you are familiar with supply chain and international sale of goods.

You'll be producing monthly management accounts from start to finish, variance analysis, including identifying and tracking any opportunities and risks within the P&L.

In this job you will be responsible for creating quarterly VAT returns, reporting to HMRC and government submissions.

You have excellent communication skills and are able to act as the main point of contact for the finance team, working with internal and external clients. This does not phase you.
