Team Leader – Day Service - Birkenhead

Are you a passionate, dedicated Team Leader looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Team Leader to join a Day Care Service Team based in Birkenhead.

Umbrella Pay - £22.61 per hour

3 months initially.

Hours are 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday - 36 hours a week.

The role:

  • Working with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Support the Day Care Service Manager in service delivery and staffing within a day care setting. Additionally, serve as the operational lead for all staffing and delivery needs at the day care location where the postholder is stationed.
  • Support the Day Care Service Manager in delivering services and managing staff in a day care setting.
  • Support the Manager in maintaining recognized quality standards.
  • Support the Manager in communicating and implementing Company Policies, procedures, and relevant information to the staff.
  • Act on behalf of the manager and chair various meetings when the manager is absent.
  • Develop, monitor, implement, and review Personal Care/Support Plans to achieve the objectives outlined in the care plans.
  • Assist the Manager in implementing change management.
  • Assist in achieving the agreed Team Targets.
  • Prioritize and allocate work plans, taking responsibility for service delivery.
  • Provide effective support to service users through person-centred care planning.
  • Responsible for communicating appropriately and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff and all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Management qualification.
  • Experience managing within a social care environment.
  • Qualification in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Proficient in IT with confidence in utilizing all Microsoft Office software packages.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to collaborate with other professionals, service users, caregivers, and families, fostering partnership efforts.
  • Capacity to compose reports and uphold record-keeping.
  • Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service.
