We are looking for a diligent Accounts Assistant to support our dynamic finance team in the property industry. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. Based in Birmingham.

Description

The Accounts Assistant will;

  • Code and process invoices.
  • Approve invoices once confirmed with CM's.
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements monthly.
  • Bank reconciliations, post manual payments and sundry payments/receipts.
  • Prepare monthly payment runs.
  • Support the finance team in daily clerical tasks.
  • Prepare, process and post Sales Invoices.
  • Update Credit Control Spreadsheets.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • Qualified or studying AAT
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen eye for detail
