Our Birmingham office of Academics Recruitment, currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager and salesperson to join our well established recruitment team.

You will be tasked with generating new business and developing new clients in the education sector and delivering our excellent and renowned recruitment service.

This is an opportunity to fast track your career in recruitment, utilising your sales skills to maximise opportunities in the market. You will have full autonomy to run your own desk of business while being supported by our back office teams including marketing and payroll.

We are one of the leading education recruitment consultancies in the UK. Our education recruitment consultants provide teachers and teaching assistants to local primary, secondary and SEN schools, for both short and long term assignments.

The Role:

  • Generating and developing new business with schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas
  • Maximising sales opportunities and generating leads with warm and lapsed clients
  • Meeting clients, advertising positions, interviewing candidates, placing candidates into roles & arranging interviews
  • Excellent career progression opportunities, often within the first 12 months
  • Financial incentives including commission
