Internal Sales ExecutiveJewellery Quarter, Birmingham (office based)£26,000 - 28,000 p/aBell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a longstanding, reputable manufacturing jeweller in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter region. They are looking for an internal sales executive to join their team.Duties and responsibilities of a Internal Sales Executive include (but are not limited to):

  • To provide support to the Commercial Manager and within the sales department as required.
  • Handling customer enquiries via email and telephone and occasionally face to face, providing customer quotations and product information with the aim of closing a sale.
  • Following up quotations and generating further business.
  • To ensure that sales enquiries and orders are processed accurately and efficiently within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Be competent in the management of inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers to the required service delivery standards.

The Person:

  • Previous sales & office experience preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Strong negotiation skills to positively influence internal and external customers and help overcome barriers to sales and service.
  • Proven customer management skills being able to demonstrate full ownership of resolving issues and enquiries.
  • An understanding of the importance and financial impact (commercial awareness) of achieving high sales volumes and maintaining good service levels.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with a proven track record in managing multiple tasks accurately and to deadline.
  • Able to work individually and prioritise own workload and also be a proactive part of a team (possessing good interpersonal skills.)
  • Happy to work in the office 5 days a week.
