We have a fantastic and unique opportunity for a motivated and results-driven Sales person to join one of the UK’s leading non-ferrous metal suppliers.

Our client is based in the West Midlands and prides themselves on delivering a high-quality service, nurturing their employees to the same standard. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Sales, and will hold an important role within the company which also offers great career progression.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, closing sales, and building strong relationships with clients.

Duties:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and calling.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve team goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.

Skills Required:
- Proven experience in sales including new business development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ACT or similar CRM software.
- Ability to analyse market trends and customer needs to identify business opportunities.

What a successful candidate looks like:

Background in non-ferrous metals is advantageous (2 years preferred). However, applications from candidates with a strong sales/business development background in other fields are welcomed (3 years minimum required).
