Account Manager, SaaS, Social Care Systems, Sales.

UK remote home based with UK client travel and occasional visits to clients, UK offices. Midlands base candidate ideal but will consider further afield as long as you have good motorway connectivity.

£50,000 - £80,000 OTE + Comprehensive Benefits package.

Applause IT is working with a large Local Government focused business outsource provider requires experienced SaaS software sales professional to take up an AM role selling Social Care setting products to Local Authorities. Their Education and Health and Care Hub enables Local Authority Partners to add to SEND plans (Special Educational Needs and Disability). Knowledge of this space and empathy with the concerns of typical stake holders in this area is essential.

This will be a home-based role with phone and video-based selling and customer visits.

You will need a proven history selling social care or education-based software to Local Authorities.

You will be responsible for new name business from inbound leads and renewals / up selling into a number of exiting key accounts.

The Role:

Owning relationships with existing customers and following up on supplied leads.

Regular engagement with customers including meetings on-site, delivering product presentations and supporting demonstrations.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements.

Provide feedback to colleagues of 'hot topics' within the sector and share your findings to the best benefit of the team.

Accurately forecast and track key account metrics.

Prepare reports on account status.

Assist with resolving client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience and knowledge of selling software within Social Care sphere to LA's.

An understanding of how software and related services can improve the effectiveness of Public Sector organisations.

Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level.

Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.

A consultative approach, able to influence others to support objectives.

An ability to form strong and mutually beneficial business relationships.

A track record of achieving targets, goals, and objectives.

High level of commitment and passion for achieving levels of service excellence

Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office (MS Excel)

Ability to interpret and use data and information to contribute to strategic decisions.
