Job Overview

As a PTS Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our depot upgrade project. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing site activities, ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring the project progresses smoothly and efficiently.



Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, resolving any on-site issues promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Health & Safety: Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on site.


Qualifications & Experience

  • PTS Certification: Essential for this role.
  • Educational Background: Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the rail sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using engineering software and tools, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
