Net Temps are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a multi million pound Student Accommodation project in Birmingham. This is a long term post and offers the opportunity to work on an interesting scheme with a market leading contractor.
Roles & Responsibilities of Site Engineer
- Setting out
- Creation of and support in the creation of ITP's, check sheets and RAMS
- Overseeing building work and undertaking site surveys
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
- Developing CAD/ design drawings for the clients and asset owners
- Working knowledge of health and safety & HR procedures
Experience
- Operated as a Site Engineer on similar schemes
- Previous experience of NEC & ICE contracting standards
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar discipline
Remuneration for this Site Engineer post is 350 per day / CIS
