- Leading on projects and assigned clients
- Undertaking inspections, structure assessments and site surveys
- Creating reports based on findings from these activities
- Giving insight into solutions for defects and remediations, including potential costings
- Overseeing a team of junior engineers and technicians to work on projects, providing training and advice on solutions
- Managing project programmes, resources and workloads
- Speaking directly with clients to establish the scope of each project and to outline the expected deliverables
- Maintaining both new and existing client relationships
- Liaising with clients to verify project scope and ensure deliverables
- Additional duties such as risk assessments, the monitoring of dilapidations and performing defect analysis can also be expected
