Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Birmingham Day shift £45,000 - £50,000 DOESF Recruitment are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our established client based in Birmingham, the role will be operating out of a new site working on some great machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improvement the onsite machinery. The Role: Planned and preventative maintenance, Repairs, Projects and Continuous improvements. Working as part of a team and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. - Identifying spares required on-site in need of breakdown to reduce downtime. - Taking a proactive approach in driving continuous improvement ideas as well as personal ownership of individual projects and contribution to departmental projects. - Taking responsibility for individual and others health and safety, ensuring health and safety policies are adhered and near miss and hazards are reported when witnessed. The Candidate: Time served Multi skilled engineer NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 17th/18th Edition beneficial Fault finding skills, hydraulics, pneumatics, packaging machinery Must have worked in a production environment The role is on day shift but there is scope to move on to shifts in the future depending on workload so flexibility is required.
