A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering an asset management contract in the West Midlands. This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Survyeor or Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for a step up to Commercial Manager level whilst working for a leading name within the UK's infrastructure sector. The opportunity promises an excellent work life balance, hybrid working, great career prospects and exposure to high profile, major projects.

The Commercial Manager will be working closely with the Commercial Director and Quantity Surveyors, overseeing the agreements with their clients, minimising risk and improving profitability. Some of your key duties will include:

  • Review and prepare tender strategies and cost models
  • Support the finance team by establishing asset financing solutions and models
  • Co-ordinate with the commercial team to ensure issues are identified and actioned
  • Prepare and present the monthly commercial and financial reports
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders
  • Contract negotiation & administration
  • Awareness of dispute resolution options
  • Provide support to the wider commercial team on the project
  • Act as a mentor to junior surveyors across the project
