Do you have experience as an Engineering Manager within a concrete manufacturing plant or similar? Are you looking to step into a role where your leadership skills will be heavily put to use in the modernisation & development of this extremely successful company, whilst being rewarded with a brilliant renumeration package?

On offer is the opportunity to join a division of a very successful company who are in need of their missing puzzle piece to lead the plant into succession. This company have a hugely significant turnover, making them market leaders for providing materials into various high profile clients in the construction industry.

In this hands on role you will be working alongside the Operations Manager and the Production Manager, and be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of plant, managing the engineering team through improved mechanical and electrical reliability as well as ensuring engineering compliance is in line with all company policies and procedures.

This role would suit a proactive and driven Engineering Manager with a background in concrete to take on a hands on and involved role leading an extremely hardworking team of engineers.

The Role:

• Ensure that all engineering contractors and suppliers that are engaged on engineering / maintenance tasks are compliant with SHEQ expectations
• Oversee the management of all people activities related to engineering and maintenance, applying company policy and best practice consistently, reasonably and fairly.
• Plan, co-ordinate and manage all site engineering and maintenance activities, safely and within agreed budget
• Control and manage maintenance activities using preventative measures whilst ensuring rapid response to breakdowns and efficient follow up to identify corrective actions.

The Person:

• Experience as an Engineering Manager within a concrete related field essential
