My Birmingham based client is looking for a Credit Controller on a Temp to Perm basis. To provide Account, Business and Management support to the Account Manager and Customer Service Manager. Delivering exceptional levels of service and building relationships between the company and their customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for complex/at risk customers to enhance/rebuild customer relationships.
  • Proactively maintain the sales ledger including the allocation of receipts to the sales ledger to ensure overdue accounts are updated.
  • Ensure debtors are entered on the warning list if necessary.
  • Collect overdue customer accounts using telephone and email.
  • Allocate cash to customer accounts and allocate to invoices.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, deal with customer queries, and raise necessary credit notes.
  • Negotiate payment plans and setting up terms and conditions for customers.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel & Dynamics.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to analyse data.
  • Customer and solution focused.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
  • Good organisational and multitasking skills
