Intermediate Electrical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious intermediate Electrical Engineer to join one of the UK's largest built environment consultancies in their offices in Birmingham. The successful candidate will join the electrical team and work on a range of diverse projects and expand their experience within the building services industry.
Responsibilities for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer:
- Work alongside the design team and produce design, drawings and specifications
- Use industry relevant software such as CAD and Revit to design systems that are required for the clients' projects
- Design site specific equipment and work alongside other professionals such as structural engineers and architects
- Provide advice to clients on their energy use on a range of buildings and sites to help minimise their environmental impact and reduce their carbon footprint
The ideal Electrical Engineer will have:
- A relevant Building services degree or relevant higher educational qualification
- Have obtained chartership or working towards it within a highly regarded institution such as CIBSE
- Experience within a building services engineering or electrical design engineering role
- Experience with industry relevant software such as Revit
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
