Senior Electrical Engineer | Birmingham

Permanent Position | 36.25 hours per week

Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will work across various sectors such as healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, zero carbon and public sector.

Senior Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role in Building Services
  • Experience of software design using - Microsoft suite of programmes, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit
  • Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.
  • Knowledge of HTM's would be beneficial
  • Professional Membership (CIBSE, IET)
  • Understanding of HV/LV systems
  • Knowledge of integration of embedded generation
  • Understanding of incorporating various renewable technologies
  • Knowledge of BREEAM
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Brilliant time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Senior Electrical Engineer Duties:

  • Lead projects and support junior members of the team
  • Attend meetings and produce client presentations on selected projects
  • Produce calculations, drawings and specifications
  • Develop the ability to become a point of contact for key clients
  • Generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients
  • Client facing for projects from inception to completion
