I am looking for a dedicated Industrial Electrician to join a well known manufacturer in the Birmingham area. You will be part of a dedicated Maintenance team, with a focus on preventative & reactive maintenance, with a focus around control panels across the busy manufacturing plant.

Description

  • Ensure all engineering activities completed, meeting Health & Safety standards
  • Maintain production equipment with a proactive approach to provide robust repairs to prevent future losses to up time
  • Responsible for implementing the planned maintenance schedule, with a continuous improvement focus
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities relating to Production, Engineering & Manufacturing
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the correct product quality standards
  • Support Production with equipment modifications and new product introduction
  • Maintain spare part inventories and order new parts with a cost-effective approach

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday

06:00 - 14:00 / 10:00 - 18:00 Rotating Weekly

Profile

You will be an experienced industrial electrician/electrical engineer, with experience working in a manufacturing environment, as well as:

  • A recognised engineering qualification
  • Strong understanding of control panels - fault finding, wiring, building
  • Pneumatic exposure would be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of H&S within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work on your own & as part of a team

Job Offer

  • Salary up to £42,000
  • Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs per week
