We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Desk Engineer to join our ever expanding business. As our Senior Desk Engineer – Service Operations, your primary role will be to provide technical support for our independent repair network, cover a broad range of domestic appliance types and brands. Validate repair reports from our network of service providers for high value repairs and unrepairable appliances. In addition you’ll provide technical support for our independent repair network which covers a broad range of domestic appliances.

Delivering prompt technical support to our service providers to aid with their repair resolution utilising a broad range of manufacturer support websites.

Providing technical assessment of high value repairs and unrepairable appliances to ensure submissions to our clients are accurate.

Provide direct support for the monitoring of potential safety incidents.

Supporting and challenging our service providers to drive improved repair yields and reduce the volume of unrepairable appliances.

Determining any trends that may indicate future problems and reporting them to the Service manager.

Assist Senior team leader / trainer and Service manager in developing training sessions and workshops for the service providers.

Maintain on-line library of service bulletins.

If you have an Industry approved Electric safety qualification, have Proven experience of fault diagnosing / repairing a broad range of domestic appliance types, ideally multi-brand. Have good problem solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work effectively on your own as well as in a team and can balance competing priorities, we'd love to hear from you.
