Gleeson are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a consultancy business in Birmingham in their search for a Marketing & Event Executive to join their team.

You will support the company's marketing function in designing and executing comprehensive internal and external communications as defined by their content strategy.

You will be taking a leading role in delivering the company's active event schedule, and utilising your best-in-class copywriting skills to deliver compelling narratives that resonate with their multiple audiences.

If you have experience in both communications and events and are able to demonstrate that you can work collaboratively within a marketing team, my client would be interested in having a chat with you.

"What would I be doing day-to-day?"

  • External marketing - using your storytelling skills, craft best in class content to our new and existing external audiences from white papers to case studies, that is strategically aligned, maximised, and continually evaluated to nurture and capture.
  • Internal communications - Create and manage internal communications, ensuring that staff and linguists stay informed and engaged.
  • Events - Deliver our event roadmap crafting exhibition and event strategies alongside the senior team, curating associated collateral. Representing Word360 at onsite and online events to showcase our business.
  • Lead generation - Collaborate closely with our sales and account management to devise robust lead generation strategies.
  • Social media - Deliver and report on our multi-channel social media calendar to ensure copy and content is optimized for the right audiences.
  • Campaign management - Orchestrate print, video, and digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for search engine results.
  • Brand - Support in the evolution of the word360 brand acting as the guardian of the companies brand guidelines.
  • External relationships - Manage relationships with third party agencies and suppliers.

Our client is offering a starting salary of up to £35k. Their offices are in South Birmingham and they would require you to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
