Our client is a UK-based charitable organisation rooted in a faith tradition, committed to promoting social justice, education, and spiritual development. They are seeking a highly organised Personal Assistant to support the Director in his day-to-day responsibilities and help ensure the smooth running of his office.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an organised and tidy working environment for the Director, including physical and digital filing systems.
- Manage the Director’s diary, schedule meetings, and ensure timely reminders for follow-ups and key priorities.
- Take accurate and concise minutes during meetings and ensure action points are tracked and followed up.
- Prioritise and manage incoming correspondence, emails, and requests for meetings.
- Provide general administrative support including document preparation, filing, and office coordination.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners on behalf of the Director.
- Support the Director in managing his workload and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assist with quarterly and end-of-year financial and budgetary processes, including preparing documentation and liaising with the finance team.
- Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate discretion at all times.
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital calendar/email systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- Familiarity with financial processes such as budgeting and reporting.
- Sympathetic understanding of faith-based values and mission-driven work.
