Company Overview:

Working for a fast growing entrepreneurial business with a focus on professionalism, integrity and expertise, the successful Mortgage Broker will be required to strive to exceed expectations by securing residential and BTL mortgages for new and existing clients.

You will be provided with warm leads and will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with their mortgage needs, providing expert advice, and guiding them through the mortgage process. With a minimum of 12 months of experience in the mortgage industry and holding the CeMAP qualification, you will leverage your knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their financial needs and goals to recommend suitable mortgage products
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client financial situations, including income, expenses, and credit history, to determine eligibility for mortgages
  • Research and compare mortgage products from various lenders to identify the most suitable options for clients
  • Guide clients through the mortgage application process, providing clear explanations of terms, conditions, and requirements
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely mortgage approvals and closings
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and mortgage products to provide informed advice to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty for repeat business and referrals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience as a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Advisor
  • CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification is essential
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and the mortgage application process
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
