Audit Assistant Manager - NFP

We are looking for a strong and dedicated Audit Assistant Manager to act as an essential member within a team that is vital to the firm. You will be responsible for supporting the team across Not-for-Profit clients.

Your role as an Audit Assistant Manager:

  • You will be responsible for identifying risk matters and raising them with the managers/senior team.
  • Suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate the needs with clients and partners.
  • Conduct rigorous project and financial management on all projects within the agreed timescale and budget.
  • Build and manage long-lasting relationships with NFP clients.
  • Support and mentor more junior members of the team and delegate work.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience of working with Not-for-Profit clients or the want to move into this sector.
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to mentor and coach more junior individuals.
  • Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing would be beneficial.
  • Experience of working within a UK accountancy firm.
