Description
- Lead a team of junior merchandisers to achieve sales targets.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to develop effective merchandising strategies.
- Work closely with the buying team to optimise stock levels and product range.
- Coordinate with marketing team for promotional activities and product launches.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained across all stores.
- Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Regularly visit stores to monitor performance and gather feedback.
Profile
A successful Senior Merchandiser should have:
- Commutable distance to the office in Birmingham is necessary.
- A degree in Retail Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior merchandising role within the retail fashion sector, ideally womenswear.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong commercial acumen.
- Advanced Excel skills
