Reed Further Education is currently seeking knowledgeable Science Lecturers to join a college in Birmingham, starting from September 2024. This temporary ongoing role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours to suit your schedule. Ideal candidates will possess a teaching qualification and a strong background in science, with the ability to teach all 3 sciences at GCSE level

Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and educational lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in science subjects
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing supportive and constructive feedback.
- Develop and adapt teaching materials to cater to diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share innovative teaching practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of teaching standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a Science-related subject area.
- Experience in teaching Combined Science at GCSE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to creating an engaging and positive learning environment.
