EYFS Teaching Assistant

- Days- Monday - Friday
- Hours- 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Start- ASAP
LTF Recruitment are on the search for a caring, friendly and nurturing teaching assistant, to support children across reception & nursery classes. The schools in a 'OFSTED' Good rated primary School. The role is offered until the end of the summer term with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher with the teaching and learning in the classroom
- Supporting children with SEN (Speech & Language delay, ASD)
- Ensuring all children and provided with a safe environment to learn in
- Assisting with eating and helping to provide a sense of Independence
- Leading phonics sessions with the children who are ready for this
- Liaising with parents at the end of each day
- Supporting pupils who may present with additional needs.
Who we are looking for:
- Hold Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 childcare, qualification or equivalent
- Must have experience working within an Early years setting
- Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning
- Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be an inspirational member of the support team who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and keeps children at the heart of learning.
