Our market leading Insurance client has a new opportunity for a Technician to join their highly regarded and growing team.

As an experienced professional you'll have strong Insurance market experience and detailed knowledge and understanding of Binding Authorities and how they work in the Industry.

The team is working on large accounts, across all lines of business and on a worldwide basis, incepting throughout the year.

You'll be supported by an enthusiastic team who will value your experience and welcome the support and mentoring you can provide them.

This is not a processing role however having good excel skills will enable you to evaluate complicated sets of data. Also, you will be able to utilise your experience by working closely with your Clients, as well as the Market.

Ideally as an experienced Technician you'll have experience across premium and claims but that's not essential as long as you are comfortable to learn and to work across both.

The Binding Authority Technician role will involve:

  • Across the most complex portfolios, validate and process cover holders monthly premium and claims bordereaux
  • Accurately and effectively manage and co-ordinate workflow around renewals for assigned accounts
  • Ensuring all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of market documentation
  • Achieving agreement from markets and maintaining diary/pending system to monitor progress
  • Accurate and timely production of client documentation and maintaining accurate and concise placing files
  • Liaising with compliance and credit control to ensure all procedures are followed

To be successful in the Binding Authority Technician role you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant Delegated Authority Binder experience
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's and London Markets operations
  • Excellent communication skills
