Description
The Commercial Contracts Solicitor will be:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
- Providing legal and strategic advice to the legal and wider business
- Ensuring all contracts comply with local, regulatory, and national laws
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant legislation
- Collaborating with departments to align contracts with business strategy
- Delivering training on contractual and legal matters
- Mentoring and upskilling team members in contracts and litigation
- Performing other duties as necessary within the legal function
Profile
The Commercial Contracts Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in commercial contract law
- Experienced in drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts
- Knowledgeable in contract and commercial law
- Excellent in communication and negotiation skills
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Ideally experienced with FCA and PRA regulations
