About the Company:
We are excited to announce we have been retained by a Global Leading Manufacturer of Valves/Flow Control solutions for Process industries. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established and growing, global business. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, this company is poised for continued growth and success. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, optimising processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Manage and develop a team of skilled technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Your Experience:

• Proven track record of success in an operations management role within the Valve industry or Flow Control solutions.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• You can be based anywhere in the Midlands, hybrid working options are available.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.
