About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Foreperson within the Delivery team. This role will be based on site in Warwickshire. Building a 12.5km stretch covering areas in Leamington Spa, Coventry, and Solihull. The sublot is responsible for the creation of viaducts, over bridges and, under bridges as well as a retaining structure at Stoneleigh Park Business Park. Sublot 2A is the southern most section of mainline. The sublot extends north from Southam through Warwickshire up towards Kenilworth.
As a Foreman you will be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies Implement the relevant requirements of the SMS within their area of responsibility Ensure that their staff receive or have access to copies of the Environmental Policy and are kept informed of environmental developments and issues Ensure that the Environmental Policy and appropriate parts of Environmental Procedures are effectively communicated to the workforce, particularly to those engaged on activities that have been identified as likely to have a significant environmental impact.
Requirements:
Ability to speak Portguese or Spanish / Italian ( Preferable )
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of a wide range of construction techniques and best practices.
- Structures experience within a large project
- Basic Computer competence (E-mail, MS word, excel & intranet).
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
