Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual ready to step up from an Electrical Site Manager position to a Junior Electrical Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing electrical installations on site and a desire to expand their responsibilities to project management. This role includes general estimating duties and offers the flexibility to work from home, with occasional travel to our Birmingham office and project sites in Hull.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in managing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Preparing and reviewing project estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the site team.
- Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that arise.
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of project documentation and reports.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager looking to advance into a project management role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Birmingham and Hull as required.
