Due to growth, we are looking for an experience construction manager to join our team and manage the construction our expanding portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Birmingham, Walsall, Kidderminster, and Black Country
Job Title: Project Manager
Area: West Midlands
Salary: 50k pa
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday Day shift
Day to day duties
* Overseeing a variety of small commercial jobs including industrial unit refurbishments
* Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors on jobs
* Organising and overseeing roofing contractors
* Brick and block laying as required.
* Assist in ground works, drainage, concrete laying, and tarmacking.
* Building foundations, partition walls and other structures according to specifications
* Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
* Operating general Plant and machinery
* Reporting to the Director on a regular basis
Requirements for the role:
* An understanding of the main Health & Safety Regulations
* Strong commercial fit out background and can work with multi-national workforces.
* Has general building work knowledge and hands-on experience in the building industry?
* Have a good trade network.
* Expert knowledge of building products
* Have excellent general knowledge of the building trade.
* Be willing to carry out physically demanding duties.
* Be reliable, punctual and be able to work to schedules.
* Must have a full UK Driving Licence
* Minimum 5 years' experience required for this role.
