About Our Client:

Our client is a renowned PLC Developer specializing in delivering high-quality residential projects across the UK. With a strong commitment to excellence, they are at the forefront of both low and high rise residential construction, shaping vibrant communities and delivering homes that exceed industry standards.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Quality Manager to join our client's dynamic team. This role will involve overseeing the quality assurance and control for three significant residential projects across the Midlands, each with a projected timeline of five years or more. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in construction quality management, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality management documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide training and support to site teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Review and approve materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes and legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the construction industry, preferably in residential projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality assurance techniques.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations effectively.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
