Are you an Internal Sales Representative? Are you based in Birmingham? Do you have experience with insulation systems?

If so, this vacancy could be for you!

Our client is a well-established company who specialise in innovation insulation systems, they are mainly involved in the Government Funded Schemes that involve measures such as Solid Wall/ Under Floor and Roof Insulation.

Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Representative:

  • Target Main Contractors and Related Trades, House Builders, Government Retrofit Schemes and ECO.
  • Support External Sales team in generating pipeline.
  • Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business.
  • Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably.
  • Engage with customers face to face and over the phone.
  • Accurately take and input orders onto the system.
  • Providing quotes.
  • Maximise add-on sales.
  • Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time.
  • Regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teams.
  • Work on trade counter as required.
  • Any other reasonable duties within the individual capabilities.
  • Responsible for results in sales and margin
  • Customer retention and feedback
  • Accuracy of order inputting

Skills:

  • GCSE Mathematics and English (preferable).
  • Good data accuracy.
  • Good level of numeracy and IT skills.
  • Experience within industry and understanding of Insulation would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous internal sales experience.
  • Competitor knowledge (preferable).
  • Selling and organisational abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships.
  • Maintain a stable performance under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record.
  • Flexible, adaptable and receptive to new ideas.
