- Deliver engaging quality physical education lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of girls aged 11-18.
- Plan and implement engaging and inclusive activities that foster a love for physical activity and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- Provide differentiated instruction to support the diverse range of learners in the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement schemes of work that follow the national curriculum and school policies.
- Support extracurricular sports programs and initiatives, including coaching and mentoring students outside of regular school hours.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism in Physical Education with a focus on teaching girls' sports.
- Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level, with familiarity with Key Stage 5 being desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and best practices in physical education pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
- Experience in a leadership or senior role within a school setting is advantageous.
