Field Service Engineer West Midlands

AlertSystems are looking for an individual who has experience within the Security Industry and can service and repair Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control systems to be ideally based in the West Midlands. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, or phone, on a date/time to suit your working day.

Field Service Engineer based in or around the West Midlands.

Basic salary of £32k p.a. +weekly overtime +standby *£250 p.w. (*rota system 1 in 5 weeks) +call-out @ £25 p.h. +additional benefits.

Main Responsibilities

Attending commercial sites to service Security Systems – Intruder Alarms, Access Control systems, CCTV, IP CCTV Systems.

Maintenance of Fire and Security Systems, fault finding on CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control systems.

Applicant attributes

• Must have 3yrs+ experience of servicing, maintaining and fault finding on CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control Systems.
• Basic knowledge of IP Networking
• Product knowledge in the following will be beneficial but not essential: Intruder – Texecom, Scantronic, Galaxy, Pyronix Access Control – Paxton ,TDSi, Maxxess, Honeywell CCTV – Avigilon, Hikvision, Samsung and Dahua
• Must have experience working on IP CCTV
• Will require to work on Emergency Callout rota 1 in 5 weeks
• Communicate effectively with customers
• A driving licence is essential
• A current IPAF licence and ECS card is beneficial
