Description
The role of Transport Planner will involve:
- Working Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 (flexibility required).
- Planning and optimising transport routes for efficient delivery.
- Coordinating with the wider logistics team to ensure smooth operations.
- Analysing and presenting data.
- Ensuring compliance transport regulations.
- Contributing to the development of transport strategies and procedures.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on transport performance metrics.
Profile
A successful Transport Planner should have:
- Proficiency in transport management software and systems, ideally Paragon.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
