We are seeking a dedicated and empatheticBehaviour Mentorto join our team inCastle Bromwich (B34)on a full time basis.

This position will commence in September.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents to support the social and emotional well-being of students, fostering positive behaviour and creating a conducive learning environment.

The Role:

As aBehaviour Mentor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building positive andnurturing relationshipswith students.
  • Providing one-on-one and group mentoring to addresschallenging behaviours.
  • Implementingbehaviour management strategiesand interventions.
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create individualized support plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Resilience and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
  • A patient and understanding approach to working with children with complex needs.
