Engineering Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineering Mentor/Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in providing mentorship, guidance, and technical support to our engineering students, particularly focusing on mechanical engineering hand skills and milling & turning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for nurturing talent and sharing knowledge.

Qualifications:

1. A relevantMechanical Engineering qualification level 3 or above. (Essential)
2. An assessors qualification. (Desirable)
3. Relevant experience teaching, mentoring or tutoring in Further Education. (Desirable)
4. A DBS Enhanced, or willingness to undergo the relevant checks to work with under 18's.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. A passion for mentoring and developing talent, coupled with a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
