InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator / Assembly Workerto join our prestigious engineering client based in the Heart of Birmingham.
The duties of theMachine Operator / Assembly Worker:
- Working in a busy production environment.
- You will be Assembling parts and Machine operating.
- You will need to have good Attention to detail and have the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- You will be Quality inspecting parts and commencing final visual inspection of parts.
- Operate production equipment and machinery to assemble products according to specifications.
- Using measuring devices and reading production paperwork to complete orders.
- Operating Various machines.
- You will organise and Handle materials and supplies needed for production, including inventory management.
The rightMachine Operator / Assembly Worker:
- You must be fully experienced in aMachine Operating / Assembly Operatingrole.
- You Must have a Minimum of 2 years experience in Factory, Assembling or Machine Operating work.
- You must Be able to Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.
- You must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- You will need to have the ability to work under pressure.
- You must have good time keeping due to the nature of the business.
- You must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work effectively in a team.
Hours of work:
- 38 hours a week.
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45.
- Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
This is a temporary to permanent position with the view to go permanent after the probationary period.
Pay for the position is 11.44 per hour.
