Heavy Plant Fitter

We are currently looking for a Heavy Plant Fitter for a reputable civils and groundwork's contractor based in Birmingham.
Based within their own yard / workshop you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of their fleet of plant and tools which includes, Excavators, Rollers & Dumpers. Experience or a knowledge of makes such as Hitachi, Wacker Neuson and Bomag would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities / Experience / Qualifications:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of heavy plant machinery and equipment in the workshop.
- Undertake mobile repairs and maintenance at various sites as required.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of heavy plant equipment.
- Perform inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter, with a solid background in heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair.
- Relevant technical qualifications in heavy plant machinery maintenance or a related field.
This opportunity will offer an attractive basic salary which is negotiable based on experience together with a full expensed van and fuel card and other benefits.
