Waiting Staff

Greycoat Lumleys are proud to be working with a historic Hall, located near Hatfield in Essex. We are recruiting for Waiting Staff who are familiar with basic Housekeeper work. We are looking for amazing hospitality candidates, who are reliable and well presented. Additionally, you should have experience with housekeeping as this job requires basic cleaning of rooms. This is role starts in mid-April and should last throughout the summer. The Hall is an events venue that has 10 rooms. The candidate should be willing and hardworking, with an energetic attitude as this isn’t a “sit down” type of job.

As this site is rural, you must be a driver or have access to a car. There is no public transport nearby.

Duties:

• Meeting and greeting guests with a friendly, engaging and open demeanour. 
• Ensuring that their first impression of the site is 5*
• Assisting with any enquiries that the guests may have. 
• Serving guests at events
• Clearing down
• Basic room housekeeping i.e. stripping beds, changing towels etc.

You:

• Have a passion for hospitality.
• Love what you do and enjoy being guest-facing on the bar. 
• Have high standards and don't compromise on quality.
• Possess a can-do attitude and get on well with others.
• Consider yourself to be highly organised and discreet. 
• Will provide dedicated personalised support to the guests. 
• Have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and fulfil the unique needs of high-profile individuals. 
• Must have up to date photo

Details:

• Salary: £15 per hour
• Hours: Fri-Sunday not every weekend
• Covers holiday of regular staff
• Start: 14th April
• Ends: August ‘24
