This role is situated within a bustling high street law practice in Bishop Auckland, dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services across a variety of sectors including criminal, family, and conveyancing law. You will be working closely with a partner, contributing to the smooth and effective handling of legal proceedings and client interactions. Your work will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.

Your Mission: In this role, you will assist a partner by managing administrative duties and client communications across diverse legal fields such as criminal, family, and conveyancing law. Your day-to-day tasks will include drafting documents, managing case files, and ensuring all legal proceedings are meticulously documented and accessible. While familiarity with LEAP legal software is advantageous, your ability to learn and adapt to various legal software will be equally valued. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all operations within the practice run smoothly and efficiently, thereby enhancing the firms ability to serve its clients effectively.


Key Competencies:

  • Prior experience in a legal setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with LEAP legal software or a willingness to learn new software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information and client interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based locally in Bishop Auckland or willing to relocate.
