Well established hospitality business in the North West who have been around for a number of years and are looking to bolster their commercial finance function, to help drive the business forwards. They have a strong finance team in post and provide opportunities to develop and progress internally.
They are looking to recruit a Business Analyst into their commercial team. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to take their first step into a more commercial finance focused role. you will be working closely with the Finance Director and a number of different key stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have a commercial outlook. They are looking to offer up to 50,000 for this role. Should this be of interest, please feel free to contact me.
Description
- Weekly reporting on sales and wages performance
- Monthly reporting and investigation of KPI's
- Monthly review of costs against budget and analysis of variances
- Investment appraisal and post investment performance analysis
- Working with our BI system and budgeting system to ensure the accuracy of the information
- Working with property General Managers to develop budgets and forecasts
- Attendance at meetings to review business performance
- Detailed analysis of business performance to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement
- Other ad-hoc projects and analysis
- Business partnering with a number of stakeholders both in side and outside of finance
Profile
The successful candidate will be newly ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have a commercial outlook when it comes to finance. This role will be a key member of the NW finance team and will be working closely with the Finance Director. You will also be business partnering with a number of different key stakeholders across the business and translating your finance to non-finance personnel. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and always be looking to add value and make improvements.
