Position: Business Development Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Company Car

The companies complex product range, in both new business and existing customer
Job Description:
o Develop a broad range of excellent customer and prospect relationships
o Execute a territory sales plan that ensures achievement of objectives and targets
o Produce comprehensive customer account and sales opportunity plans
o Confidently articulate and present the companies products, services and value proposition
o Develop a comprehensive understanding of the companies processes and systems
o Build a robust sales pipeline and forecast that will yield future profitable revenue streams
o Capitalise on new opportunities by creating compelling customer solutions and proposals
o Work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues from sale to implementation
o Develop a detailed knowledge of competitive products and services
o Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts, including architects and contractors
o Proactively provide industry and market intelligence to the wider Woodscape community
o Deliver all required reports, forecasts and CRM updates in a timely manner
o Be prepared to travel extensively within the UK.
The Person:
Experience
o A successful track record in high value technically complex B2B sales in the construction
industry or a similar relevant market environment
o Experience in the development and execution of territory sales plans
o Demonstrable success in leading high value technical proposals, bids and tenders
o An understanding of the utilisation of sales pipeline management & CRM systems.

Qualifications
o Education: Degree level or equivalent preferred, (but not essential)
o IT literate: MS office essential
o Driving Licence essential
