CNC Machinist (Mainly Lathe)

Currently, the plastics manufacturing side of the business has been expanding, and to continue to provide a reliable, quality service to our customers, we are looking to build our team.
Partwell Group is based in Blackburn and has established itself in multiple markets in the UK and overseas. The company prides itself on the continual development of its employees, winning awards in the North West for the development of our apprentices.
The Role
You will be responsible for machining products (primarily on the lathe) at the required level of quality and pace
The ideal candidate would be able to:
- Program set and operate CNC machine tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain product quality
- Reliably inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Document and develop production processes where required
