Responsibilities
- Working within a predominantly medium to high batch machining cell
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Expertly program, set-up, and operate CNC machines using one or more of the specified control systems.
- Choose and prepare the right tools and materials for each machining job.
- Vigilantly monitor the CNC machines to guarantee consistent quality in production runs.
- Conduct regular maintenance routines on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, aiming for continuous process improvement.
- Adhere to the highest safety standards and protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve any challenges encountered during the production process.
- Stay updated on advancements in machining techniques and control systems to uphold our industry-leading standards.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Ability to program one of the following Haas, Heidnehain, Mazak, Fanuc or Siemens
- 5+ Years experience working within CNC Programming
- Highest standards of H&S and Quality is essential
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
- Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
- A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
- A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team

Shifts + Pay Rates
Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm - Rates up to £16 p/h
Night Shift - Monday to Thursday 20:45pm - 6:00am - Rates up to £22.50 p/h
