Finance Manager

Your new companyA leading manufacturing business in Blackburn. Your new roleA key Finance Manager role reporting to the Financial Director and leading a small team of 4 staff. You will be responsible for all aspects of day to day finance, including the delivery of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts. You will also provide KPIs and investigate variances with key budget holders. You will also provide commercial analysis as required around costs, pricing and margins. You will manage the transactional finance team and an Assistant Management Accountant to ensure deadlines are met and the quality of outputs. You will support the FD with other adhoc reports and analysis as required. What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally be a fully qualified accountant or finalist, with experience of a similar Finance Manager role. You will have strong management accounting skills and be comfortable leading a small team. You will be IT literate and able to pick up new systems quickly. Experience of a manufacturing or product based sector would be an advantage, but isn't essential. You will be available to start quickly and happy to commit to a 12 month FTC.
