Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Veritas Education invites applications for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant at a local Blackburn with Darwen Primary School.

Position: SEN 1-1 Teaching AssistantStart Date: As soon as possibleWorking Hours: 8.55 a.m. - 15.10 p.m.Contract Type: Initially temporary, with potential for a contract extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one support to a child with special educational needs
• Assisting the child with activities and tasks as directed by the teacher
• Implementing individualized learning plans tailored to the child's needs
• Supporting the child's social and emotional development
• Communicating effectively with the SENCO, teachers, and parents/guardians

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN
• Fluent in Urdu
• Ability to effectively communicate with a child who is hearing impaired
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children with diverse needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Teaching Assistant (TA) certification
